The 41st Charles R. Drew University of Â鶹´«Ã½Å®Íøºì Commencement Ceremony is Saturday, May 17, 2025.<\/h2>\n\n\n\n

The ceremony, celebrating graduates of CDU’s three colleges, will take place at El Camino College\u2019s Marsee Auditorium (16007 Crenshaw Blvd, Torrance, CA 90506). <\/p>\n\n\n\n

Commencement is a ticketed event. Each graduate may reserve up to five tickets via the Commencement Participation Form<\/a>. The deadline to RSVP and reserve tickets is March 15. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

The ceremony will be livestreamed on YouTube<\/a>.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Participating in Commencement<\/h2>\n\n\n\n

Candidates who expect to complete all degree requirements by spring 2025 or fall 2025 are eligible to participate in the 2025 Commencement Ceremony. Candidates who completed degree requirements in fall 2024 but did not participate in the 2024 Commencement Ceremony are also welcome to participate in the 2025 Commencement Ceremony, space permitting. Students eligible for the 2025 ceremony may not be allowed to walk in the 2026 Commencement Ceremony.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The deadline to RSVP is March 15.<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

Commencement Checklist<\/h2>\n\n\n\n

  1. Confirm degree completion eligibility with your Program Director or Coordinator. Starting March 1, Commencement information will only be sent to candidates included in the Program Directors\u2019 eligibility list.   <\/li>\n\n\n\n
  2. Complete RSVP Form<\/a> by March 15. The RSVP form is the only way to secure participation in the commencement ceremony. Any forms submitted to the Registrar as part of degree completion do not qualify as a commencement RSVP.<\/li>\n\n\n\n
  3. Purchase regalia (cap and gown) online<\/a> before April 5.<\/li>\n\n\n\n
  4. Pick up ceremony tickets for guests. Information about distribution will be provided as the ceremony date nears.<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n\n\n\n
